The aquatic biodiversity, including fish like pike, perch, and trout, along with various aquatic plants, enhances the diving experience.

How a Diving Baptism Works:
> Welcome & Introduction: Divers are greeted by the instructor or dive guide. An explanation of the baptism process, goals, and safety instructions is provided.
> Theoretical Briefing: An introduction to the fundamentals of scuba diving, such as underwater breathing, buoyancy, and underwater communication signals. Presentation of the diving equipment (regulator, buoyancy compensator, fins, mask, wetsuit). Safety rules to ensure the participants’ security (don’t panic, follow instructions, distress signals).
> Preparation & Equipment: Participants are provided with their equipment and assisted in properly wearing it. The instructor checks the fit and functionality of the equipment.
> Entering the Water: Gradual entry into the water from a boat. A few simple exercises are done to get accustomed to the water and the equipment, such as breathing with the regulator on the surface.
> Diving: Descent into shallow water, usually between 1 and 6 meters, always under the supervision of the instructor. A leisurely underwater exploration to discover the marine environment and observe the flora and fauna. This part lasts around 30 minutes. The instructor remains close to ensure the safety and comfort of the participants.
> Ascent & Exiting the Water: A slow ascent to avoid decompression issues. Assistance with exiting the water and removing equipment.
In summary, Lake Annecy offers a unique combination of water quality, diverse dive sites, accessibility, and natural beauty, making it a top choice for divers of all levels.
